今日は、訪れたＪＫの身体検査を行っています。
先ずは面談を行い、問診、聴診、触診等へ進みます。今、深部体温を計測中です。診察室内には、内診台もあるので、婦人科の検査も予定されています。
ＪＫを、診察ベッドの上で四つん這いにさせ、直腸の温度を計測します。肛門へ体温計を挿し込んで、正確な深部体温を計測しておきます。体温計のスイッチを入れたら、暫く待ちましょう。本人には、痛みは無く、多分冷たい位しか感じない筈です。多少の違和感はあるでしょう。「はい、そのまま暫く動かないで、じっとしていてね。」
面談に来た筈のＪＫは、今診察ベッドの上で何故か、お尻に体温計を挿し込まれ、直腸温を計測されています。問診を受ける内に、自然に内科の診察を受ける事になり、更に検査が進められています。
Lubricant. You will need a water-soluble lubricant. A lubricated thermometer can be inserted into the rectum much easier than a thermometer that has not been lubricated. If the lubricant is in a jar, you will need a tongue depressor or other instrument to transfer the lubricant from the jar to the gauze pad.
The normal body (rectal) temperature is about 97.6-100.4 degrees F (36-38 degrees C), where it is 1 degree F (0.5 degree C) more than the oral temperature and 2 degrees F (1 degree C) more than armpit temperature. Therefore, the rectal temperature is known to be more dependable than any other body temperature.
時折、体温計は上下に動きます。肛門が締まると同時に、ピクピクと体温計も動きます。体温計のデジタル表示は、ドンドンと上昇しています。37.3℃で止まったようです。「どうかな、どうかな？ お熱はあるのかな？ 」勿論、深部体温は、腋下に比べると高く出ます。
ＪＫは、ブルブルと恥ずかしさに震えています。顔を紅潮させ、枕に顔を埋めます。
